The SCM Senior A team has pulled off a major coup and been promoted to the Oberliga Oberbayern (Upper Bavaria League). There, they will compete next season with FC Bayern Munich, who boast a former Bundesliga player in Maximilian Nicu and are otherwise stacked with former third-league and regional league players.

Coach Jürgen Kampkötter’s men played an outstanding season, demonstrating a 13-point lead over second place. Furthermore, the team boasted the league’s top scorer, Stefan „Lopez“ Reiß, with 17 goals.

In November, at the BFV’s big awards ceremony, captain Thomas “Mozart” Gräbel will receive the championship trophy.
